HIGHFEST STALLS
We are looking for craft stalls, children's workshops, and food vans for our school event, Highfest, on 1st July.
Highfest is a private event for families attending Highfields Independent School in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
The event has been running for over 25 years, and we welcome around 400 people (including parents and children) each year, with more than 50% sleeping overnight on the school grounds (in tents and caravans).
Feedback from parents last year was they wanted a shopping experience while attending (most families stay for at least six hours). As a result, we are looking for between 10 and 15 crafting/unique stalls.
Ideally, we'd like the shopping stalls to be outside on the school grounds where weather permitting, everyone will be sitting. Booked entertainment throughout the afternoon includes three bands and many activities for children, although we are looking for a few more.
The cost of a shopping pitch is £10 and includes only a large patch of grass!
A pitch for a food van is £50 on hard standing, and we are limiting spaces to 4 and looking for a range of food between the vans - we already have a pizza van booked.
Timings for crafting stalls would be 1pm - 5pm, while the food vans would be from 1pm until at least 9pm. If you are interested in the event, please complete the form on this page.
